MOON Sixteen Opal
More Than A Lamp, A Light That Moves With the Moon

The only object that follows the moon — in real time
We've studied and encoded the lunar cycle on a tiny chip inside your MOON. Once it receives your location and time from the mobile app, it will run and calculate autnomously for 100 years. Hundreds of long-lasting LEDs inside light up according to the exact lunar phase at your location.

The New MOON Sixteen Opal
Our most accessible edition to date: the matte Opal and Alabaster MOON Sixteen Opal is handcrafted in our atelier in Portugal, fusing hand-carved Alabaster stone with Opal glass and our custom-made electronics. Now with adjustable light warmth and a handheld remote.

Proudly distributed at MoMA design store. If you're seeing this page from the U.S., please visit their page.
Three ways to experience MOON
Real Moon
Exact phase and angle; lights when the moon is above your horizon — on average, about 50 minutes later each day. The most meaningful experience.
Always-On
Shows the exact phase, angle, and lights always, whether the moon is above or below the horizon. You can turn it on and off at will.
Twin Moon
Shows the real moon for the location of a dear one. Allows you to connect on a deeper level.
