A more compact MOON Ninety
MOON Seventy is a more compact version of MOON Ninety: the same wall piece at 700 mm, 70 mm deep, so the stone seems to float just off the wall.
It enters any home. You don’t need a palace or a hotel lobby: a bedroom, a hallway or a dining wall is enough. Like every MOON it shows the moon’s real phase, as it appears from where you are, and it changes minute by minute.
Alabaster
Alabaster is a mineral formed over millions of years. Each block carries a unique pattern of veins and crystalline structures that no other block will ever repeat, a landscape that already looks like the moon’s.
It passes light without colouring it. Light enters the stone and scatters inside it, off crystal and mineral, so what reaches you has come through the material rather than past it.
MOON Seventy is cut from one block and finished by hand in our Lisbon atelier, and we do not try to make two of them alike.
Two ways to live with it
MOON has two modes, set in the app or on the remote. Both always show the moon’s real phase, as it appears from your location: they differ only in when the stone is lit.
Contemplative light
In Real mode, MOON follows the exact moon cycle. It lights when the moon is above your horizon and fades when it sets, about 50 minutes later each day.
Functional light
In Everlit mode, MOON keeps showing the true phase whether the moon is up or not, and shines when you want it: dimmed and warmed like any other fixture, which is how most hotels and practices use it.
